Host Home Information

HOST: Dustin Tavell

Dustin is a missionary and good friend of pastors here at Crosspoint, who has desire to see the gospel shared while breaking down walls through music and magic… so get ready church! Find out why we’re excited about Dustin being our host for Collide weekend:

Jeremiah Morris is a husband, dad, disciple-maker and church planter. He is passionate about his wife, Ashley and his boys, Finn, Caleb and Judah. He also loves preaching the gospel, to the city of Houston, and anything wrapped in a tortilla.

Jeremiah is a seventh generation Texan but was raised throughout the eastern United States.  He returned to Texas to attend TCU in Fort Worth. It was during college that he came to Houston for the first time as a result of his connection with the youth program at First Presbyterian Church. After college, he served for nearly ten years at FPC in a variety of positions. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree during a brief hiatus at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA.

He is delighted to now be fulfilling his dream to plant a church in the city that he loves. He spends his free time watching Netflix with Ashley, wrestling with Finn and Caleb, rocking Judah, reading good books, and running.

We are so excited to see what God will do in and through him for Collide 2021.

WORSHIP LEADER: Jacob Agnew & Crew

Jacob Agnew will be leading worship for us this year and we could not be more excited. We want to share his heart and hope for this weekend, but we knew we could not express it in the same capacity he could so, here is his vision and story for Collide 2021.

“My entire life has been ministry-driven; from growing up in the church, studying the Word in college, to entering full-time ministry, one thing is clear: I know my purpose is to serve the Church with my whole heart. Part of that calling is leading worship in a strong and powerful way. With almost 15 years of worship ministry experience, I’m on fire for what God is doing and the movement that is developing in the hearts of today’s youth. I am beyond excited to lead at Collide 2021 for the simple reason of giving God glory through worship. My hope is that we point people to Jesus, equip them to experience the love of God that happens everyday, not only on the weekends, and to have a lot of fun seeking Him. Thank you for allowing me to pour into the youth of Crosspoint!”
